Barcelona’92 presentó, como el resto de ciudades aspirantes, su candidatura olímpica al Comité Olímpico Internacional mediante un stand de 90 m2 en el recinto de exposiciones de Berlín Oriental.
El pabellón debía identificar a Barcelona como ciudad abierta y mediterránea, por lo que se dividió en dos zonas, una primera que diera un ambiente general de luminosidad y otra en penumbra, destinada a proyecciones de vídeo. Un gran rótulo luminoso “Barcelona’92

Along with the other aspiring cities, Barcelona 92 presented its Olympic candidacy bid to the International Olympic Committee. A 90m2 exhibition stand was used for the occasion in the West Berlin exhibition grounds. The stands had to identify Barcelona as an open Mediterranean city. To achieve this, the stands were divided into two parts. The first part created a general atmosphere of light, and the other one of shade to be used for video projections.
